Monchhichi was a plush monkey made in Japan in the 70s. It was only exported to certain parts of Europe and by the time it came to France, it was called "Mon Kiki" (which translates to My Kiki).

There was a Mr and a Mrs Mochhichi, and as a 4 year old growing up on the German border, I would never go anywhere without it :-)
